Brittney is a lover of Jesus, wifey to Jeff and momma to Gracyn, 11, & Landrum, 8. They live a wildly normal life in a small town in Missouri. When she is not at church you can find her covered in glitter satisfying her need to create. As a church Secretary/Student Pastor's wife by day and a sports mom/volleyball coach/speaker/blog curator/taxi driver/women's ministry leader/crafter by night, Brittney stays extremely busy. And loves ALMOST every minute of it.
After years of struggling with the demands of marriage, motherhood, and ministry, Brittney came to the end of her rope and face-to-face with her need to surrender. Having given all her own effort she realized she could accomplish nothing apart from God. As Brittney began to share her heart with those around her it became obvious she wasn’t the only one living out this struggle. She became passionate about encouraging women to lay down their mask and enter into an authentic relationship with Jesus. Out of that desire and a near-audible call from God, Grit + Favor was born. Brittney has spent the last few years traveling and speaking at teen girls events, MOPS meetings, and women’s conferences and retreats. She also blogs and plans to launch a podcast with her hubby later this year.
Gabbi Hartzell is a wife to her husband Ryan (or “studhubs” as she likes to call him) and mother to two feisty little girls, Emerson Grey and Juliette Rose. Ryan and Gabbi were married in August 2013 and found out just ten months later that they were expecting their first child. Emerson and Juliette are a mere thirteen months apart in age, keeping them on their toes. Needless to say, there is never a dull moment in their home! Together they have been navigating parenting since almost the very beginning of their marriage and are in a constant state of trial and error.
Gabbi and her family reside in her home state of Kentucky. In between marriage, parenting, and working at her local church, Gabbi is an advocate for empowering women to eradicate insecurity by establishing their identity in Jesus. She is the director of her local women’s ministry, The Well, is the founder and leader of the Prom Prep campaign, and co-host of the Podcast show Moxie Mamas. It is her deepest desire to see a movement of women linked arm-in-arm, set free from insecurity, and pursuing their purpose in life. She is a firm believer in all things coffee; has a strong desire for pizza, mint chocolate ice-cream, and french fries; never gets tired of snapchat filters or laughing; and believes that fun should be added to all areas of one’s life.

She and her husband are professional state hoppers who have lived in Louisiana, Tennessee, New York and currently, Texas! They love donuts and catching a flight for their next adventure. She’s currently working on her second book and would love to connect with you! Also she wants you to know she’s an Enneagram 2w3.
